The self-tapping screws included with this kit are approximately 5/8" long.
Whether they will be long enough depends on the thickness of the plastic overlay and your vehicle's mounting configuration. If your overlay is relatively thin, the included screws will typically work. If you are adding a thicker plate cover or spacer, you may need longer screws.
