Hi,
Thank you for your question.
The Billet Aluminum Car License Plate Frame - Double Badge is designed with four visible xxxx holes for a specific reason. Because the frame is CNC machined, adding securing tabs to the backside is not practical, so the lower xxxx holes are used to secure the license plate directly to the frame.
We offer a stainless steel mounting xxxx set designed specifically for this installation. The set includes two self-tapping screws and two shorter machine screws with nuts.

The two self-tapping screws are normally used through the upper mounting holes to attach the license plate frame and license plate to your vehicle. The two shorter machine screws are installed through the lower holes with nuts on the backside. These lower screws do not attach to your vehicle's bumper or license plate bracket. Their purpose is to secure the license plate firmly inside the frame.
Once installed, the license plate and frame become one solid assembly, and all four mounting holes are filled with screws for a clean, complete, and finished appearance.
